Hey, I'm Dave, noted sauce aficionado and winner of the 2008 Easy On The Eyes Award. I'm an optimistic realist and a sceptical agnostic.
I went to school at University of Illinois - Champaign/Urbana where I got my degree in Math/Computer Science. I'm currently working as a software developer at a small company in Chicago called Risetime where I work mainly with Microsoft SharePoint. I'm also pursuing my masters in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul. Most of my career goals involve being overeducated and underdressed.
In my free time I do lot of web development on my own. I like working with PHP and MySQL mainly. I keep myself busy with lots of geeky pastimes. I pretty OS agnostic, running Windows, Mac, and Linux machines at home.
Music is a huge part of my life. I'm currently playing guitar in a band called The American Autumn and I've played in a slew of bands in the past. As well as guitar, I also play bass, drums, sax, and keyboards. Outside of music, I enjoy running, reading, and riding my Yamaha Vino around the city. I've been learning how to draw lately, as well.
